Help us grow our school community!

This website was created by the Henderson K12 Inclusion School’s Parent Council (SPC) to promote family voice and strengthen our fully inclusive school community. For us, inclusion is not a way to deliver special education, but a way to be in community together, to celebrate that difference is normal, and appreciate that we all thrive when everyone is welcome and fully included.

Henderson Stories

Henderson Stories is a new project launched by the School Parent Council to uplift and celebrate some of the many wonderful members of our community. Our first two stories featured a profile of Akira Smith, a rising senior and proven student leader, and Ms. Natasha Fortes, a dedicated HS math teacher. Click here to check out these Henderson Stories. We are also looking for more ideas and writers. If you would like to get involved, please email Roy Karp (parent of a 4th grader).
